Mike Rinder: Liar, liar your pants are on fire

Copied from this site.

A testimony from a former Sea Org member who knew Mike Rinder and was with him aboard one of the Sea Org vessels.

Those who knew Mike Rinder knew he is a chronic liar and, indeed, even lies about lying.

This constant and continual lying and false reporting was manifested even in his early days in the Sea Organization.

When he was a trainee in 1979, he had the opportunity to work directly with LRH.  He did so for one day then abruptly ended it, as he wanted to take a vacation. That’s right, you didn’t misread that last sentence. It was the last time Rinder ever saw LRH.

On that one day he worked with him directly, LRH gave Rinder one simple cycle to do—deliver a message to someone.  So off Mike went to deliver the message. When he returned from having done so, LRH asked him if he had informed the person’s senior, which was always the standard thing to do. He hadn’t. LRH informed him that he was violating policy and his action was squirrel. Afterward his short interchange with Rinder, LRH made an observation to a Messenger, which the Messenger then wrote up to HCO:

“LRH does not recommend Mike Rinder for post. He wanted me to alert you to this. LRH said Rinder flubbed it. LRH said Rinder gave him the wildest Why he had ever heard in his life—Mike’s Why was that he was going on leave to Australia so it didn’t matter (in reference to doing his post functions). LRH said that is actually a criminal reaction …”

LRH pursued the outpoint of Rinder being so blatantly off-policy.  As Mike professed he had done the OEC, LRH ordered him to take an OEC exam.  When LRH saw the results, he wrote the following:

LRH asked Rinder to re-do his OEC course. Meanwhile, there were yet even more lies in this. In a writeup of his crimes Rinder did years later, he stated the following:

“When LRH ordered me to retake OEC exams in January 1978 [name] did them. He let me study/refresh my memory before doing the exams. I never felt good about this, but did it anyway so that I wouldn’t just flunk all the exams. LRH wanted to know how much I knew of the OEC and if I could apply it and this didn’t give a true picture of how much I could do that.”— Mike Rinder

And Rinder also wrote up the following in a public announcements:

“False attest on OEC Volume 0-6—I know I went by MUs on those courses and this then got very badly missed when LRH had me do the OEC Exam in 1978. I did not understand the materials.” –  Mike Rinder

After the one day with LRH in 1979, Mike Rinder never saw LRH again.

“With all the justifications I have had in place, telling the truth under certain circumstances was in my universe no different than telling a lie or withholding.”
“Bottom line is that I have had a totally criminal moral code and operated with a totally criminal mind attitude that I have not fully confronted (even down to lying about lying and doing illegal things).”
